PRECIOUS GUEST

Pupils of the ninth grade had the opportunity to talk to Mrs Dagmar Lieblova, PhD,  who visited our school.

She belonged to the victims of the Nazi genocide of the Jews. As a child she went through some of the most terrible Nazi extermination camps, and she lost her whole family in Auschwitz. She was one of the founders and a long-time chairwoman of an international association called Terezin Initiative, whose mission is to provide universal care for former prisoners of concentration camps and people persecuted by Nazism. Through her extraordinary public activity and lecturing, she has been committed to keeping the Holocaust remembrance never out of our memory.
