CHILDREN READ TO CHILDREN
Our nine year old pupils attended children in a kindergarden and read to them during their relaxing time after lunch. They attended the kindergarden four times. Each time their prepared their reading in advance thorouthly and they looked forward to it a lot.
After that the children from kindergarden visited our school library. They got to know what books there are and how to conduct oneself in a library. They took a lot of books from shelves and look through them.
At the end of this project preschool children attended our fifth grade children who read fables for them and then they talked about the morals hidden there. There was also some time for doing a bit of exercise and each preschool child was given with a colouring picture. Everybody enjoyed this succesfull project and thanks it preschool children look forward to going to school. (PHOTOS IN THE GALLERY)
