HIDDEN LIFE
Our pupils from fifth, sixth and ninth classes took part in environmental education programs in Kokořín region prepared and lead by Ekocentrum Koniklec.
In September and October about 150 pupils investigated wonderful natural terrain in Kokořín mine. Their guides were experienced lecturers who showed them what was hidden in forests near Pokličky stone formation. They together with our children revealed geological history and investigated hidden life of barely visible fauna and flora. They really enjoyed harvesting and identification of invertebrates and creation their own stone formations. They liked wandering on the map in which they had to draw in a scheme of sandstone formations and identified their features.
The project of environmental education programs for children run by Ekocentrum Koniklec is financially suported by Ministry of Environment and Central Bohemian Region.
